Throwback Thursday: 4-28-2016: Wesley Forest


Do you all recall a time in your life when you did something fun, and at the same time was a bit life-changing? That's how I would describe my time at Wesley Forest. 

I spent the Summer of 2010 in the Woods of Weikert, PA 
Where I was Craft Counselor at Wesley Forest

I might not have known it at the time, but it had a profound effect in my life - for the better. 
I found a comfort in the woods - in nature - that I had never experienced before. 
And I met some AMAZING people - whom I still have in my life.

With the Fall Season officially here. . . I thought it might be fun to include some "fall" makeup fashion into my "Book-Writing" world!  If you love makeup like I do, it's always fun to try to replicate a "look" that a character might have worn in a movie, or in a show. December 2017 Update

So I just realized today that it's been a long time since I've updated ANYTHING on this website, and that's really horrible of me. Since I last posted on here, "The Songs in Our Hearts" reached a TOP 100 List on Amazon, making it an Amazon Best Seller! (Exciting, right?) Also, with the success of "The Songs in Our Hearts," the sequel, "The Songs We Remember," was accepted by 48Fourteen Publishing and will be coming at some point in 2018-2019! That's DEFINITELY exciting. I finished Book 1 of my "Between the Sea and Stars" world. I'm not really sure how many books will be in this duology / trilogy ... so I'm leaving it a bit open ended at this time. For now, book 1 has been written and accepted by Parliament House Publishing.
